What is counseling?
Contrary to what its name might suggest, counseling has nothing to do with giving advice!

When should I turn to a counselor?
We turn to a counselor when stress, fear or anxious situations begin to cause us to no longer enjoy life as we would like to. There are many circumstances in which a person may begin to perceive the need for change, and to focus on it, here are some examples of situations in which going to a counselor can be helpful.
- Need for support at times of mood inflection (e.g., feelings of loneliness, generalized anxiety, repetitive and intrusive thoughts)
